AIT is pleased to announce that on May 13–14, 2026, the workshop “Present and Future of Thermal Applications with Earth Observation Data” will take place at the ASI headquarters in Rome.
The event is international and will be held in English.
It will consist of two days of thematic workshops at the ASI headquarters in Rome, focusing on urban heat islands, scientific developments, and thermal applications of Earth Observation.
In the context of increasingly rapid urbanization and the impacts of climate change, cities and human settlements, as well as natural environments, water surfaces, and glaciers, are exposed to rising temperatures, alterations in microclimate, and changes in their physicochemical and biological properties.
