APPLICAZIONI DELL’INTELLIGENZA ARTIFICIALE NEI METODI DI TELERILEVAMENTO PER LA STIMA DEI PARAMETRI GEOFISICI DELLA SUPERFICIE TERRESTRE
Visto l’attuale interesse per l’Intelligenza artificiale e le sue applicazioni, l’Istituto di Fisica Applicata del CNR (IFAC-CNR) insieme con il Centro di Telerilevamento a Microonde (Ce.Te.M.), con il supporto di IEEE e dei suoi Chapters (in particolare GRS29-CNI and GRS29 SI) e il Patrocinio dell’Associazione Italiana di Telerilevamento organizza una scuola (in lingua inglese) sulle applicazioni delle tecniche di telerilevamento alla superficie terrestre.
La School si terrà dal 19 al 23 Maggio 2025 nei locali dell’Accademia delle Scienze e del Disegno (via Orsanmichele 4, Firenze).
Il programma prevede la partecipazione in qualità di docenti di ricercatori e professori universitari italiani esperti del dominio e si articolerà nei seguenti temi:
- An overview of Artificial Intelligence Techniques and Applications;
- Once Upon a Time there was the Bayesian Approach of Parameter Retrieval;
- Machine Learning Applications for Remote Sensing of Soil Moisture, Vegetation Biomass and Snow;
- Physics-Based AI in Earth Observation;
- Deep Learning Methods for Characterizing Urban Areas Using Radar and Optical sensors;
- Quantum Machine Learning Applied to EO;
- Snow Cover Fraction Mapping from Optical Imagery: a Progression from NDSI Thresholding to Nonlinear Machine Learning Based Unmixing;
- Marine Macroalgae Extraction Using Remote Sensing and AI.

La quota di partecipazione è di 250€/persona che dovrà essere versata al momento della conferma della registrazione (entro il 30 Aprile 2025).
L’accettazione della registrazione sarà soggetta a valutazioni dipendenti dalla disponibilità dei posti. Non si garantisce l’accettazione della registrazione oltre la data del 30 Aprile 2025.
